Going Green is New?

Oh HELL NO! I keep hearing people swear that “Going Green” is a new concept! Huh… what? My grandmother had been using “Green Technologies” way before I was born, but back then it was called “Being Poor!”

1. Solar Power Cloths Dryer = cloths line

2. Solar Hot Water Heater = Put water in a tub till the sun heated it, or rise- with a hose that the sun has heated.

3. Sun Tea

4. Wood Flooring

5. Walking to More Places

6. Setting under a shade tree during HOT months

7. In summer a lot of cold meals (not to heat the house), Winter you got HOT meals (helped to heat the house)

8.  Walk Behind Reel Mower

9. Solar Hair Dryer = stand outside for a while

10. Heater / Furnace = wear layers of cloths to stay warm
