Heading out on the road

091It’s graduation time and I’ve gotten a few emails about being a CyberHobo. So just a little advice…

Gather as much of a bankroll as you can, that means sell anything and everything you’re not taking with you. Get a “Little Black Book” and get EVERYONE’S phone number, address, and email that you can. Not only get theirs but ask do they have friends and relatives in another state that would consider letting you camp in the back yard and shower under their hose for a night. With a recommendation alot of people open up their yards and/or porches for others pretty quick. (typically comes with a free meal as well, and maybe a little work) . Take a weather proof camera and set up a blog so others can follow along and keep track of you. Before you say NO, think about it. Most people that follow your journey on a blog would be willing to send a few bucks to you here and there. Even a couple dollars could mean you eating or going hungry. Tell everyone about you big adventure and give them the web address to keep track of you.

Stay safe and legal … you know what I mean. Be careful … young men can get raped as quick as a woman. You don’t hear about the men too much because it goes unreported. But there is a lot of men out there who search for young men to befriend and offer a place to sleep and stay. Date rape drugs work on men and women.

CyberHobo has a new pet

8737339370_a65fcc44be_b

It’s a Bearded Dragon named Pete! We’ve had him for a few months and boy has he gotten bigger. All in all he is a very cool pet to have. Not much for taking on the road so he is a stay at home pet. So, if your going to be gone for a period make sure someone is willing, able, and knows how to take care of them for you.

Top 10 Pet Peeves

PetPeevesHere are some of my biggest “Pet Peeves” that I have:

10.  Rough and thin toilet paper – come on spend the extra $.10 per roll, put a donation cup on the back of the toilet if needed.

9.  American sliced cheese – it doesn’t have the texture, looks, or taste of real cheese, co when you ask, “Do you want cheese on your burger” I expect real cheese, not some yellow shit.

8.  People who will talk on a cellphone while having a meal with me. (not a quick 5 minutes but the entire meal)

7.  Drivers who won’t turn right on RED – come the HELL on and move to Idaho or something.

6.  Having to go back thru the ‘drive thru’ because your order got screwed up/

5.  I hate when two people in a restaurant sets on the same side of a booth. – are they getting some quick feels or something?

4.  When someone doesn’t fill the ice trays back up when they’ve used all the ice.

3.  It’s horrible when people don’t take care of their pets. – fucktards!

2.  Not using the turn signals to let other driving know your intentions – dumbasses!

1.  peeing on the toilet and NOT cleaning it up. Come on rude pricks, if you can’t lift the fuckin’ seat to piss at least clean your own piss up.

A man in his own driveway calls a cop a hobo and gets 2 months in jail

THIS is the man who called a detective a “f****** hobo” after neighbors reported a suspicious man sitting in a car outside his family home.

Martin Cash (30) was sitting in his car having a cigarette when he was approached by a policeman.   The cop said they were called because it was 2am and neighbors were concerned about a burglar.

A woman came out of the house, told the police she was Cash’s wife and that he was sitting in his own driveway.

Then garda explained he had received a call from a neighbor.

Cash became aggressive, shouting and telling him to get the “f*** out of the driveway”.

Gda O’Boyle said Cash also called him a “hobo” and a “dosser”. (I guess it hurt his feelings)

Judge David McHugh sentenced Cash to two months in prison, calling his behavior disgraceful.

Dublin,  Ireland

Ah… getting away from it all!

1453462031_57e87a6504_bMy idea of getting away from it all is not going to Disney, Universal Studios, and any amusement parks. Typically every time we go to one of these I come home stress out, worn out, and broke. The tickets are almost $100 each, food is going to cost you $50 per person (and that is being very conservative), parking is $20, and souvenirs’. Add another $200 for 1 night at a hotel, and breakfast the next morning,  for a family of 6 it cost us a $1300 per day. Now it’s just not the money, it’s let me pay that much money and wait in 40 minute lines in the Florida sun for each ride? WTF … how is any of that enjoyable.  I hate crowds and idiots, I hate the heat, and I hate waiting?

My idea of getting away is going to Key West and enjoying the fishing, drinking, night life, and relaxing! I can get a hotel for 4 days for $150 per night ($600), eat food in the room ($200 and we’re eating our catch), boat for 2 day rental $400,  and throw in $100 for gas. So for $1,300 total I can take a 5 day (4 night) vacation in the Florida Keys. So we fish and stay on the water for 2 days, and the other two days go sightseeing Key West or out to the Dry Tortugas. We’re eating fresh fish, (maybe lobster) and drinking cold beer every night.  Going down to Duvall street and watching the shows and listen to the music.

To each their own I guess but for the same time in Orlando for 5 days I’d be out several thousands of dollars. So like Jimmy Buffet said, ” Well, I’m still here. Didn’t have to go to rehab, and I’m not broke.”

I’m telling on you…

Waa-cry-baby2I really hate cry babies… you know the type, the ones who don’t say anything but cry about stuff to everyone else. I truly understand when a child does it, I don’t understand why the parents never correct the child and have them speak up for themselves. I’ve always taught mine that if you have a problem with someone go directly to that person to resolve the issues. Being that kid who cries, I’m going to tell the teacher, just makes the problem worse.

Moral of this rant… grow up and act like adults! lol

Methy Hobo With Sawed-Off Shotgun Accused of Killing Armed Apartment Owner in Phoenix

An armed Phoenix man was shot and killed yesterday as he entered an apartment unit he owned after suspecting that someone might be inside.

Police found 31-year-old transient Bobby Hoover minutes later in front of Cortez High School, not even a half-mile away, walking down the street with his meth, a sawed-off shotgun, and two handguns — one of which was the dead man’s handgun, according to court documents obtained by New Times.

Steve Stair and his wife were servicing apartments they own near 35th Avenue and Dunlap around noon yesterday, when Stair’s wife noticed a light on inside one of the units and asked her husband to check it out.

Since the couple had problems with trespassers inside this apartment, Stair retrieved his handgun from his car and went inside the apartment.

There, he found Hoover, who was in the process of burglarizing the place. Hoover fired four shots from his own handgun, striking Stair twice, according to the documents. Stair died from his wounds at a hospital.

When Hoover was found minutes later, walking down Dunlap, he admitted to police that he had the handguns in his pockets. The gun Hoover allegedly shot Stair with was loaded and had the safety off. Stair’s gun, which was found in another one of Hoover’s pockets, was loaded, but the safety was on, according to police.
